Back at his place, we open the door and see the aftermath of Drago’s visit. All of his mother’s broken ornaments and glass shards from the mirrors and cabinets are scattered everywhere.

“Rain, I’ll grab you a change of clothes and your toothbrush. You’re coming to my place tonight. We’ll deal with this disaster later.”

“Wow. I love it when you’re aggressive,” he says, giggling, obviously still stoned from the shot.

When I’ve gathered his things, Rain walks out and I follow him, taking one last look at the room before I pull the door closed. Images of Gia being dragged out by the bald brute play on a loop in my mind. I hope Rain was right. I hope Drago was just trying to intimidate Gia. I hope that after he got her alone, he didn’t hurt her.
